How does the challenge work ? – Decathlon Outdoor Help Center

🎁Win up to 3000 points by creating hikes on Decathlon Outdoor from September 29th to November 3rd :

1 route created = 1000 points
2 routes created = 2000 loyalty points
3 routes created = 3000 loyalty points

You will receive your points no later than November 12th.

How to create a hike in the application ?

Download the app Decathlon Outdoor
Login to you Decathlon account
Open the application creation tab
Go to the starting point of your hike
Click on “create a route”
Do your hiking, the app will record it in real time
Click on “finish”
Add a title, description and some pictures to provide information to the community and send it to moderation.
Click on “finish”

The moderation team of Decathlon Outdoor will check that your route meets quality standards* before publishing it (please find the quality standards of route creation in the FAQ).

What are the quality standards for my creation to be published in the hiking catalog ?

If you can, please start your hike in a parking lot. Do not start your hike from where you live, go to a public place that is accessible.
Make sure starting and ending points are accessible.
Routes should be at least 2 kilometers on foot and 4 kilometers by bike.
Encourage loops and out-and-back hikes.
Add a description to your route, highlighting important information such as difficult passages.
Add minimum 1 photo of the hiking to help other users to project themselves.
Two sports are accepted : hiking and biking.

When does the challenge take place?

You can participate from September 29th to November 3rd.

When will I receive my loyalty points ?

You will receive your points no later than November 12th on your Decathlon membership account.

I didn’t receive my loyalty points after November 12th

You didn’t receive your points ? Please contact our support team, we will add the points to your Decathlon membership account..

How many loyalty points can I win ?

You can win maximum 3000 points during the challenge (until November 3rd) by creating 3 hikes.
This offer can be combined with the offer running throughout the rest of the year : 1 hour's ride earns you 50 points.

My creation is not accepted in the catalog of hikes, will I get my loyalty points ?

If you’re creation is not published, you will still receive the loyalty points.

I don’t want to send my hiking creation in moderation, will I get my loyalty points ?

You will receive your loyalty points even if you didn’t send you creation and that it is still in draft.
