Yes, you can start a guided outing from any point on the track, provided you are on it. The app will then guide you as usual. Just make sure to follow the intended direction: from the starting point to the finishing point (indicated by the black flag).
Conditions to be met
You must be on the track to start the guidance.
If you are too far away, the app will display an orange arrow indicating that you are not aligned with the route.
To benefit from the guidance, you need to join the track and check that your position (white arrow) is indeed on it.
- As the starting point and finishing point are fixed, if you go directly to the finish, the hike will be considered completed. To complete the entire route, you must restart the outing from this point to return to your original start.
👉 Once these conditions are met, you can fully enjoy your outing, even if you start from a different place than the official starting point.
