Audio guidance allows you to follow your route without keeping your eyes on the map. Once activated, the app provides audible instructions to guide you and alert you to points of interest. The timing of the sounds adjusts to your speed, whether you are walking or cycling.
📍Please note: Audio guidance is available only for guided outings from the Decathlon Outdoor catalog. This feature is not compatible with tracking GPX routes imported into the app.
Here’s how to activate audio guidance and fully enjoy your outing.
Activate audio guidance
To start audio guidance:
Go to the start of the chosen outing or to a point on its route
Tap Start
Tap the speaker icon on the right side of the screen
🔊 Active icon = audio guidance enabled
🔇 Muted icon = audio guidance disabled
How do the audible instructions work?
Once activated, audio guidance issues directional instructions to help you follow your route. These sounds automatically adjust to your pace:
Cycling: instructions are triggered earlier to anticipate your speed
Walking: instructions come closer to the intersection or point of interest
Check your phone’s volume
To hear the instructions clearly:
make sure your media volume is turned up sufficiently,
check that your phone is not in "silent" mode or "Do Not Disturb" mode,
verify that it is not unintentionally connected to an external Bluetooth device (earphones stored away, car stereo, etc.).
With audio guidance, you can enjoy your outing with complete peace of mind 🎧
