What happens if I finish an outing faster than the estimated time?

The duration indicated on the description sheet of a guided hike is an estimate. It can vary depending on your pace, terrain conditions, or even your fitness level that day. If you finish the outing more quickly than expected, your activity is still recorded, and its actual time is taken into account for the accumulation of your points.

The indicated time is only an estimate

The time displayed in the description of a guided outing serves as a reference.
It depends on average parameters (usual walking or cycling speed, elevation gain…), but it does not necessarily reflect your own pace.

It is therefore perfectly normal to finish:

  • faster,

  • or slower than the estimate.

Your outing is always taken into account

Even if you finish the hike faster than the announced time, the activity remains validated.
The app records the actual time spent, not the one displayed on the sheet.

How are your points calculated?

The app automatically accumulates the actual time of all your activities completed during the week.

All recorded times are totaled, regardless of the duration of each outing.

This total also includes activities performed via other Decathlon sports apps synchronized with your account.

Once the weekly threshold of one hour is reached, the corresponding points are automatically added to your loyalty account.

If you are faster than the estimate, no problem: the important thing is that your actual time is properly counted and accumulated for your points ⏱️🌿
