Do you want to do a hike in reverse or follow a route in the opposite direction to that proposed by its author in the catalogue? The Decathlon Outdoor app allows you to reverse the route and GPS guidance at any time during your guided outing.
Steps to reverse the navigation direction
Start your guided hike by pressing the Start button
Open the progress tracking panel (tap the arrow icon at the bottom right of the screen or swipe the bottom panel upwards)
Scroll through the information and tap Reverse navigation direction (also recognisable by its icon with two opposing arrows)
What happens once the direction is reversed?
Voice and visual guidance: the direction arrows and voice instructions immediately realign to your new walking direction
Statistics and elevation: the remaining distance, estimated time, and elevation profile of the outing are recalculated automatically
Flexibility: you can return to the original direction at any time by pressing the same button again
Key points to remember💡
The Reverse navigation direction option is located in the lower panel accessible during guidance
It adapts the GPS route, elevation profile, and voice instructions in real time
You can change the loop direction at any time during the hike
